Dog training

Most dogs live with people who want them to behave in a way that makes them pleasant to be around, keeps them safe, and provides for the safety of other people and pets. Dogs do not figure out basic obedience on their own, that’s why they must be trained.

Most of the cases the owners of the dog don’t have enough time, patience or just knowledge to train their dog on their own, so they need a trainer. The trainer should train not just the dog, but the owner too.

The connection between dog and owner is the strongest one, so the trainer should not ignore that. The trainer is training the dog and the owner. I usually go the first several times with the owner, so I can explain my style of working, how he should practice the commands and everything that he should know for his dogs behavior.

Obedience training contents the most popular commands:

Sit – learning the dog how to sit. The dog should sit down and stay until the trainer (owner) tell it that it can go free.

Down – learning the dog how to lie down and it should wait until the trainer release it.

Stay – this command is for staying on the same place until something else is said to the dog.

Come – the hardest command for most of the dogs. The dog should come to the trainer (owner) and sit in front of him (or on his left side).

Heel – the dog should walk on the left side of the trainer, its head should be on the level of the trainers leg.

Shake – the dog gives paw.
